Built by Two Guys Who Wanted Something Different
Torque Automotive opened in January 2025, but the partnership goes back further. Jeff and Sterling spent years working together at another local repair shop, Jeff as Store Operator and Manager, Sterling as lead technician for more than 25 years.
After watching their previous employer take the business in a direction that didn't sit right with either of them, Jeff asked Sterling to come build something different. Four months of planning later, they made it official, opening Torque Automotive at 1525 S Stoughton Rd in January 2025.
That backstory matters because nothing here happened by accident. The way you're greeted, the way your vehicle gets explained, the way estimates come together, all of it was built on purpose.
